Selling Advantage for Senior Homeowners® is a program offered exclusively for seniors who are preparing to make a transition to a new home. SASH purchases the senior's home, while providing outstanding service, guidance, and support through the entire sale process.

How to Qualify

SASH's service is an excellent option for many senior homeowners. We are able to help those seniors who need the privacy and ease of our home sale service, but who do not necessarily need to sell their home for top market value.

Our service is best suited for those seniors who want to enjoy SASH's guaranteed sale, packing and moving assistance, privacy, ease, and custom-designed closing date, understanding that our discounted offer price reflects these many services.

Though we have general qualification guidelines, which are described below, we do make exceptions to these guidelines if the situation requires it. Each senior's home sale is unique, and we do our best to provide our service to every senior who needs it.

The SASH Program is designed for those seniors who are:
  • 60 years of age or older

  • The legal owner of their property, whether it is a condo, house, land parcel, mobile home, or other real estate

  • Not currently listing their property for sale with a real estate agent or Realtor

  • Not currently involved in a legal or estate dispute involving their house or property

  • Without hindrances of a physical or mental nature which would impede their ability to legally sell the property, unless the proper documents are in place (such as Power of Attorney, Guardianship, etc.)

We consider each situation separately, and we are happy to answer questions about unique home sales to see whether they qualify for SASH's service. If we are unable to purchase a senior's home because it falls outside the parameters of our service, we do our best to refer the senior homeowner and their family members to trusted resources that will be able to provide assistance.

SASH was founded in 2005 by Rebecca Bomann. Rebecca Bomann saw the need for a private home sale service for seniors when she helped her own grandfather sell his home. Rebecca Bomann believes that seniors deserve an easy home sale service that can assist them through the process, eliminating the terrible stress, work, deadlines, and waiting that her grandfather endured. This is the mission of The SASH Program. SASH stands for Sell A Senior’s Home, or Selling Advantage for Senior Homeowners. The SASH Program is a respected member of the elder-care community, offering an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau, as well as many testimonials from clients and their families. Rebecca Bomann began her care of seniors at the age of 12, working in the home of a bedridden elderly woman to prepare meals and do housekeeping for her. Rebecca Bomann continued her care for seniors as director of a small non-profit that served needy families. In addition, Rebecca Bomann has served battered women, homeless families, rape victims, recovering addicts, and teen moms in her years of social work. Rebecca also spent a year in South America working and researching in poor ghettos. Subsequent to her work as a social worker, Rebecca Bomann entered the real estate arena as an investor. This blend of social work and real estate is the foundation of SASH.
