Here at The SASH Program, we serve seniors and their families by offering easy,
private home sales. However, that’s not all we do. Our vision is also to
educate, inspire, and share ideas with groups and audiences on the topics that
relate to our vision and mission.
SASH prides itself in staying up-to-date on current trends, legislation, news,
and events that affect seniors and their families in the areas of downsizing,
creative housing solutions, and real estate. With our network of hundreds of
senior providers, SASH also stays in close touch with new services and products
that can provide care and assistance to seniors and their families. In
addition, our combined experience in social services and real estate allows our
audiences to understand the emotional and practical issues in a home sale.

Penny Washington, Community Relations Director for SASH
At 75 years young, Penny brings the practical and engaging perspective of a
senior who knows first-hand the journey of transitions and aging.
But don’t let her age fool you! As our full-time Community Relations Director,
Penny stays in close touch with hundreds of senior service providers in the
greater Seattle area. She is constantly attending legislative forums,
networking events, senior fairs, panel discussions, fundraisers, community
meetings, and senior care groups to keep her fingers on the pulse of senior
services.
Penny brings over 20 years’ experience in social services to her audiences, as
well as many stories, examples, and recent studies that are relevant to the
care of our aging population. Her open and interactive speaking style is
