Spring Networking Luncheon for Elder Care Providers

Held on April 29, 2009

At Wesley Homes Des Moines

It was a sold-out crowd at SASH’s Spring Luncheon in the end of April!

An impressive roster of outstanding elder care providers gathered to strengthen their referral network, share resources, and discuss current issues in the care of seniors.

A big thanks to our gracious host Wesley Homes for the incredible gourmet lunch in an elegant setting. Thank you Wesley Homes for making us feel welcome
on your beautiful campus!

We are also pleased to have raised money for Senior Services’ Meals on Wheels program from our generous attendees during a fun raffle event at the Luncheon.

“On behalf of all of us at Senior Services, thank you! Your generous donations to Meals on Wheels will make a significant impact on our ability to serve seniors in King County. Your generosity will be used to help purchase the raw food for 267 breakfasts ($1.46/meal) and 227 dinners ($1.71/meal) for seniors in need.”

“It was a fantastic event! We had lots of fun. And you did an amazing job of organizing people and keeping the whole thing on time. So thank you!”

“I again just wanted to commend you on a job well done at yesterday’s event. This was, by far, the best networking event that I have had the privilege of attending. The afternoon was so well thought out and the focus was so in line with what we all strive to do…provide the best care and resources to our clients.“

“Wonderful Luncheon!!! I had the best time, made lots of contacts. It was just lovely, and so well organized. I'm already looking forward to next year!”

SASH was founded in 2005 by Rebecca Bomann. Rebecca Bomann saw the need for a private home sale service for seniors when she helped her own grandfather sell his home. Rebecca Bomann believes that seniors deserve an easy home sale service that can assist them through the process, eliminating the terrible stress, work, deadlines, and waiting that her grandfather endured. This is the mission of The SASH Program. SASH stands for Sell A Senior’s Home, or Selling Advantage for Senior Homeowners. The SASH Program is a respected senior service that has an impeccable rating with the Better Business Bureau and an outstanding 100% client satisfaction record. There are no complaints to the Attorney General’s office after several dozen home purchases, because Rebecca Bomann insists on the highest standards of client care, integrity, respect and service in SASH’s business model. Rebecca Bomann began her care of seniors at the age of 12, working in the home of a bedridden elderly woman to prepare meals and do housekeeping for her. Rebecca Bomann continued her care for seniors as director of a small non-profit that served needy families. In addition, Rebecca Bomann has served battered women, homeless families, rape victims, recovering addicts, and teen moms in her years of social work. Rebecca also spent a year in South America working and researching in poor ghettos. Subsequent to her work as a social worker, Rebecca Bomann entered the real estate arena as an investor. This blend of social work and real estate is the foundation of SASH. The SASH Program is designed with the heart of caring and service to those in difficult situations, with the specialized knowledge of real estate and seniors. Thank you for your interest in SASH! We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
