Most services or programs that help seniors sell their home actually have the
senior go through the whole selling process – preparing the home, marketing the
home, waiting for a buyer, negotiating the sale, and then hoping for the best
outcome. Our focus is different! Since we are the buyer, we can eliminate the
stress and unknowns of the normal sale process and provide a simple,
comfortable transition.
How long does it take to sell my home with the SASH Program? (back to the top)
That really depends on how much time you would like to make the transition from
your current home to your new one. If you need to hurry, we can go through the
process in a matter of a couple weeks. If you would like to take your time, we
can stretch it out to months, allowing you the time to thoroughly prepare for
your move.
How do I know what a good sale price for my home should be? (back to the top)
That’s a great question. After we take a look at your home, we study the recent
sales and current real estate activity in your community, and use that
information to get an idea of the estimated value of your home. We share this
data with you so that you can see how we arrive at our price. Then we offer you
a reasonable price for your home, which will be discounted to reflect SASH's
many services. If you are looking for the highest sale price possible for your
home, we encourage you to put the home on the market with a listing agent.
Does SASH offer the top market value for my home? (back to the top)
No. The SASH Program will offer you a fair price for your home, but it will be
lower than the price that your home would sell for on the regular market. Our
offer price to you is discounted to reflect the guaranteed, private,
custom-designed home sale that we provide, complete with packing and moving
services. When we make an offer, we wil explain your options to you so that you
can choose the selling plan that best fits your needs.
What if I need help packing and sorting my things? (back to the top)
No problem. SASH can provide the packing and moving assistance that you need.
Our Team members can come over and help you organize and pack prior to the
move. We'll also provide the complete moving service, if you need it. SASH will
even provide unpacking service in your new home - and our professionals will
take all the boxes with them. If you don't have anyone to help you, we'll be
there to ensure that you have all the assistance you need!
Who will come into my home if I choose to go with the SASH
Program? (back to the top)
Only a few members of our Team will come into your home before closing. Someone
from the SASH Team will come to the home to discuss the sale with you and make
an offer. If you accept, we may have a house inspector come in order to give us
a complete report on the property. In most cases, there won’t be more than five
people from our Team, and each visit will be carefully arranged around your
schedule.
Are the SASH Team Members real estate agents? (back to the top)
No. We are senior service providers who have an extensive background in real
estate. We use our experience in purchasing homes to "custom-design" the sale
of a senior's home, providing an easy and private sale to the senior. One or
more of us may have a real estate license, but we only use it to access
information on the MLS for fair, informed offers to our senior homeowners.

SASH is for any senior homeowner, age 60 and over, who meets our
qualifications. Our service is an exclusive and private senior home sale
service, designed for seniors who would like to skip the stress and hassle of a

The SASH Program makes it easy for you to move. Simply select the things that
you'd like to take with you, and allow family to come and get the items that
are of sentimental value to them. Then, when it's time to move, you can leave
any unwanted household items behind. SASH will take care of finding a home for
them! When SASH purchases your home, there's no need to leave it empty for us.

What kinds of homes will SASH buy? (back to the top)
SASH will consider any home that is owned by a senior, including the following:
new construction, regular "stick-built" homes, condominiums, townhomes, mobile
homes, manufactured homes, and also investment property and raw land. We learn
as much as we can about the senior homeowner's situation, including their
reason for selling, and we do research on the property and the current market
conditions. If we believe that SASH is not the best selling option for the
senior, we'll say so. Our goal is to help the senior in situations where a
private and custom designed home sale is the very best option.
In what geographical areas does SASH purchase homes? (back to the top)
SASH's service is focused on the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area in the
State of Washington. If your home is outside this area, we will not be able to
purchase your home, but we can still assist with providing helpful resources
for your home sale.

Yes. Sometimes, we are not able to purchase a senior's home. There are a number
of reasons why SASH's service may not be the best home sale option for the
senior homeowner. However, in every situation, we take the time to hear the
details of the home sale and the seniors' needs. We do our best to offer other
resources, and encourage the senior and / or family members to consider other
choices or services that may be better suited to their specific needs.
